week 4, column 2. 18, 22, 16 (with a few pauses), 16 (with a few more pauses), the 25 max wasn't happening, so I went 18, and then 7 more after a short break. 97 total. I should get to 100 total by Wednesday.
Looking for advice........do you think I should keep plugging away even though I can't get my maxes in one set, or should I drop back a week or two?

Do your max and call it good. I think the idea is that when your muscles are completely wasted, they'll strengthen in order to compensate for the next time. i.e. no pain, no gain etc.
I don't agree with you guys who do your max, wait awhile and do some more. Do your max and you're done.
